The Rodder's Journal is a full-color, premium, coffee table style quarterly; the result of a lifelong mission to capture the soul of hot rodding and its vibrant history.
Throttle was the very first hot rod-oriented magazine. Introduced in 1941, covering the burgeoning dry lakes
and circle track scenes, it only lasted one year. Its first anniversary issue was published just about the same time as the bombing of Pearl Harbor and the onslaught of World War II. The Throttle brand has now been
revived and we’re proud to make it a part of the TRJ family. Our initial offerings are for Throttle brand clothing, but a full reprint of all the original 1941 Throttle magazines in hardbound book form is coming in 2008!
